Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Pixl Online Solutions (“Pixl”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with our internal content-management tool (the “Service”), which we use to schedule, review, and publish social media content to the Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts that our clients have authorised us to manage on their behalf.
We operate the websites pixlonline.co.za and pixlonlinesolutions.com. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at info@pixlonlinesolutions.com.
The Service is an internal agency tool. It is not a public, sign-up product, and it does not collect information from members of the public who view the content we publish. It is used only by authorised Pixl staff to manage content for clients who have engaged our services.
To operate the Service, we collect and process the following:
We do not collect personal information from the audiences or followers of the accounts we manage, and we do not use the Service to gather analytics about individual end users.
We use the information above solely to:
We do not sell any information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
We share information only as needed to run the Service:
We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pixl, our clients, or others.
We retain content and operational records for as long as we manage the relevant client account, or as long as needed for client reporting and our legitimate business records. Access tokens are retained only while they are needed to operate the Service and are removed when access is revoked or no longer required.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we handle, including restricting access to authorised staff and storing access credentials securely. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
Clients whose accounts we manage may, at any time, ask us to stop managing their accounts, revoke our access, or request that we delete the content and records we hold for them. To make such a request, or to ask what information we hold, contact us at info@pixlonlinesolutions.com and we will action it promptly.
Clients can also revoke the Service’s access to their Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts directly through their Meta Business Settings at any time, which immediately prevents the Service from accessing those accounts.
The Service relies on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Airtable, each of which has its own privacy practices. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties, but we choose providers that maintain appropriate data-protection standards.
The Service is a business tool intended for use by authorised Pixl staff and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated to affected clients where appropriate.
